    Synopsis (from Goodreads):
Vampire hunter Elena Deveraux and her lover, the lethally beautiful archangel Raphael, have returned home to New York only to face an uncompromising new evil…

A vampire has attacked a girls’ school—the assault one of sheer, vicious madness—and it is only the first act. Rampant bloodlust takes vampire after vampire, threatening to make the streets run with blood. Then Raphael himself begins to show signs of an uncontrolled rage, as inexplicable storms darken the city skyline and the earth itself shudders. The omens are suddenly terrifyingly clear.

An ancient and malevolent immortal is rising. The violent winds whisper her name: Caliane. She has returned to reclaim her son, Raphael. Only one thing stands in her way: Elena, the consort who must be destroyed…

Archangel's Consort is the third book in Guild Hunter series, and it continues with Elena & Raphael's lives. I'm a big fan of this series, so it is no shocker that I loved this book. The one thing I love in Ms. Singh's books is that there are so many exciting things going on and there is never a dull moment.

Elena is back in New York , and gets to meet her hunter friends. I loved how everyone reacted towards her wings. She is back to her hunter duties, and still training to be on her best with the help of the Seven (at least some of them). We get to meet Elena's half-sister, Evelyn who is just like her. It would be interesting to read her story in future. We also get to know a little more about Illium's childhood, and I felt so sorry for him. Aodhan is still my favorite, and I'm most excited about his book. The steal of this book no doubt is Raphael. There was a lot more about his history with his parents in this book. Caliane, Raphael's mother, is awakening from her centuries sleep, and the entire book was a built up for that moment. No one knows if she's good or bad, and Raphael has his own doubts.

The relationship between Elena & Raphael is stronger than before. There is trust and honesty between them. I loved seeing them grow emotionally. Raphael doesn't keep a leash on her, and lets her make certain choices. We finally get to see the angels' dance, and I didn't think it would be so sensual. I was thinking like a ball room dancing in the sky but I was so wrong. It couldn't possibly can get any hotter than that.

I seem to have only one complain with this book, and it is same as the last one. The ending was rushed but I liked the fact that Ms. Singh tried to negate that with a well written epilogue. Everything was tied neatly, therefore this book deserves a 5 star rating. I loved it and strongly recommend it to everyone. It is one of the best series I've picked up this year, and will re-read it in coming years.
