Sparks fly when a hardboiled reporter meets a handsome senator. But a political scandal—and attempts on her life—could drive them apart. Or maybe adversity could draw them into a bond even more intense than their steamy sexual embraces.

Extreme Exposure is the first book in the I-Team series by Pamela Clare. It is one of the most entertaining, funny, suspensful, and sensual book I've ever read. It has everything in it, and I don't understand why it is not popular on Goodreads or anywhere. Everyone should give it a try, it is that awesome.

I-Team is an Investigation team of reporters in the Denver Independent newspaper. It consists of around 7-8 reporters which I believe is the cast for future books in the series. The concept of this series is brilliant. We get to see the hardships of a journalists life. This book educates us about unknown crimes and the dark world that no one really talks about. I loved this book so much that I bought the entire series right away.

The main character, Kara MacMillan, is a reporter and single mother of a 5 year old. Her love interest is Senator, Reece Sheridan, who is one of the good guys in his field. Their first meeting and first date was the highlight of the book. It was really good seeing Kara juggle having a relationship with the senator along with managing her son, and running a dangerous story for the paper. The only tiny little complain I had was that the hero was too perfect. There were certain things he did or said that were just unbelievable. But the flawed or too perfect character was completely overshadowed by the amazing storyline.

Pamela Clare is now added to my auto-buy list. I'm so excited to read about other I-Team members. I recommend this book to all the romance and thrill lovers.
