I don't know what else is going away with Google Reader or how this change will effect other Google features I use like GFC and Feedburner, so to be on the safe side, I joined Bloglovin yesterday. Well actually, I joined Bloglovin and Feedly, but I wasn't really happy with Feedly. Bloglovin is more visually attractive and easy to use in my opinion. I spend the whole day exploring it and I love it's features.
"Bloglovin' is meant to be a service where you can follow any blog with a public RSS-feed... " (Source)
So Bloglovin is basically like GFC but along with Blogger based blogs, it lets you follow wordpress blogs too. It is easy to transfer all your feeds and all the blogs you follow via GFC or RSS (Google Reader) and it lets you sort them in different groups, from YA to Adult to Author specific blogs. Also, as said above, as long as the blog you want to follow has an RSS feed like Feedburner, you can easily follow it via Bloglovin. I like it and I would encourage you to atleast give it a try. It's easy and fun, and hey, if you don't like it, you can always delete it.
What alternatives are you going for?
Let me know :)
Great post!
ReplyDeleteI also got a Feedly and BlogLovin account (glad to see I'm not the only one) :P But I also prefer BlogLovin! :)

how about Networked Blogs? Does it work the same way as BlogLovin?
ReplyDeleteGreat post!
For Networked Blogs, you need a facebook account and I don't like Facebook.
Deletehonestly only thing I use is the blogger dashboard.. i find it allows me to find out a variety of posts that I wouldn't have known about. I hope GFC still works because it is linked to the blogger dashboard thing.

I use to do that too but I like that now I don't have to go look for the wordpress blog, they just show up in my feed. I really hope nothing happens to GFC too.
